WE ARE ALL

WARRIORS

mission
THE MISSION

At More Than Conquerors we are providing safe places to empower generations.

We aim to connect individuals to God through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, fight alongside warriors in the battles of their lives, and connect them to one another and to other relationships and resources in the community.

We are chartered with Faith Christian Fellowship International (FCFI), and fall under their tax-exempt federal status.

THE VISION
YOUTH

Children are a heritage from the Lord,

offspring a reward from him.

Like arrows in the hands of a warrior

are children born in one’s youth.

Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them.

They will not be put to shame

when they contend with their opponents in court.

Psalm 127:3-5

FAMILY

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

2 Corinthians 13:4-7

We have a 3 part vision for impacting our community -- Youth, Family, Adults.

We help families and students with everyday hurts and struggles before they become scars.

We strive to instill in them the confidence and hope that can only come through faith in the Savior Jesus Christ.

We are responding to a call to adorn generations of warriors in the armor of God.

We are called to speak love into these lives and meet these warriors where they are on their battlefields.

We will help to build the bond of the kinship that Jesus Christ loves and teaches us.

We strive to provide safe places where people are able to be honest and transparent without judgement.

We aim to meet individuals where they are in their lives and walk alongside of them in their faith.

We pray, guide, and answer God’s calling to assist our fellow warriors so that we may all be of one in the Kingdom of God.

We are ALL

More Than Conquerors

in Christ.

CAITLIN HASKETT

I am a born adventure-preneur. From being a zip-line guide to ice cream scooper, bartender, teacher, 3rd shift donut maker, llama trainer, nanny, waitress, post office worker, you name a job-I've probably had it.

After graduating with a degree in business from Anderson University, I jumped the Pacific and taught English to high schoolers for a year in rural China where I learned how to be a pro at charades. I continued my world tour to Spain where I was a nanny for awhile. I then came back to the western hemisphere and worked on communications and web design as an AmeriCorp VISTA. I was volunteering for a similar organization to MTC throughout my time and when my VISTA position ended I jumped on board with the other two MTC founders in 2016. I get to keep the operating side of MTC going, design stuff, and help out with running the programs.

One favorite bible verse of mine is from when Jesus is a baby, and a man named Simeon holds him for the first time:

"Then he took him in his arms, praising God"

Luke 2:28

I want to be like Simeon, showing love and praising God for each kid as they pass through our program. You never know who a child will grow up to be, just like Simeon didn't know exactly just how Jesus would grow up and save others.  And I am so honored that I get to be a part of a season in families' lives.

NATHANIEL IMAN

My name is Nathaniel, I love a good story, exploring nature, and baking desserts.  I am also one of the biggest nerds you will meet. I’m the guy who can tell you about the details of superhero movies, why Lord of the Rings movies misses out on featuring one of the coolest character in the books Tom Bombadil, and have memorized the konami code from my days of playing Nintendo.

I am from Missouri, but over the years I have been blessed with getting to serve in different types of ministries across the nation.  Each place has been a time where God has shaped me into the man He wants me to be. From working with kids and protecting them from scorpions in the desert, to being the first to tell teenagers about who Jesus is while in Kansas, it has been an adventure.  All of these different experiences have led me here, working with MTC to help this wonderful community.

During my time in college, the concept of servant leadership has been ingrained into my head by every professor.  This is the mindset I take in serving with the other staff at MTC. I want to be a godly example for these students to follow.  The influence we have is a great way to help others follow Jesus.

A verse that has been instrumental in my life is from

2 Corinthians 12:9,

“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”

I want every student to know that God’s grace is sufficient, no matter how weak we are, His grace is greater.
