Wrapping Up!

It's that time of year, and MTC is wrapping things up. [There was no pun intended there, but how well does that go with the Christmas season!?]

First of all, we hope that you all are enjoying this joyful time of year. Be sure to take time to reflect on the true light and love of the season, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Enjoy the presence of loved ones. Drop the stress. Make a fire. Play some games. Bask in everything that makes this season special, and let go of everything that threatens to darken your days.

With this holiday season comes a break from school, which means it's the end of the semester. MTC is having an End of Semester Party on December 15th, and you and your family are invited! It is from 6-8pm in the PHMS Cafeteria. We will have a pizza party, some awards, and (as always) Adults vs. Kids Dodgeball.

*All kids must have supervision, remember this is a family event :) We also want to show the utmost respect to PHMS as they have been so generous to open their doors to us.

This semester we have added a very special portion to the night.. we are doing a Baptism Service! Any kids (or adults!) who want to partake and take that next step in their faith & commitment to Christ will be dunked. We are looking forward to being able to celebrate this joyous occasion with our community! If you are interested in learning more about our Baptism Service or being baptized yourself, then please call or email us.

We hope to see you all there! Talk to any staff member to let them know if you plan on being there or if you have any questions.

As the Fall Semester ends, we sadly must take our winter "break." This means that we are not able to host our free MTC After-School Programs in the months of January and February; however, do not be fooled by the word "break". We will still be working away, which means will be hosting Family Fun Nights, other community events, holding longer office hours preparing for the year ahead, planning Summer Camp, and much more! We will be back in the schools for the Spring Semester after those few short winter weeks though! Be sure to stop in and see us at our office. Also, follow our social media, emails, and website for updates [Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Website]

Wrapping up a year gives you the opportunity to do some end of the year giving. There are so many worthy causes and organizations among us. If you or your business are participating in making donations at 2016 year's end, then we ask that you please consider giving to More Than Conquerors (501(c)3 tax exempt) as one of those worthy recipients. Every contribution allows us to continue to pursue our God-given mission to provide safe places to empower generations.

We strongly believe that when you give, you are not only blessing our organization and all whom we serve, but you yourself are blessed in the process. We promise to be good and faithful stewards of your gifts. We praise God for all the support we have and are yet to have, and we thank you in advance for your support of More Than Conquerors in this season of giving!

Pendleton Community Church of God

Pendleton Community Church of God (PCChoG) has been with us from the very beginning (and before). They are an amazing support and cherished guide of MTC and those of us running it. We very much value their words of wisdom, financial support, and faithful guidance. There is a very strong chance that MTC would not have been able to get started without the help and support of PCChoG and the incredible individuals who run it. We are forever grateful for them and all they do.

PCChoG strives to always love God and love people. They are called to make a world of difference as they trust God, live like Jesus and depend on the Spirit.
