The MTC FREE After-School Program is finally starting! Yayyy! 🎉👍

We are excited for the new things God has in store for this semester, and we hope that you all will join us for the adventure. Our program will be for all 4th-8th grade students in the South Madison Community Schools District. We offer a program for all 4th-6th grade students at Pendleton Intermediate School (PES-I) in town off of State Street, and we also have a program for all 7th-8th grade students at Pendleton Heights Middle School (PHMS) also off of State Street near Marsh.

Both programs will be 2.5 hours long every Mon-Thu until May 19th. The Intermediate (INT) Program starts this coming Monday (Feb 29th)! It will go from 3:30pm-6:00pm. The Middle School (PHMS) Program starts on Monday March 7th! It will go from 2:30pm-5:00pm. There will be some days that we will combine both programs at the Intermediate school after 3:30pm. We will notify you of this through our website, so please sign up on here for updates if you have not already.

The Program schedule and locations will be similar at both locations and on a normal program day will go as follows:

10 min -- Announcements & Opening Prayer (Aux Gym)

45 min -- Game/Group Activity Time (Aux Gym or Outside)

10 min -- Snack Time & Bathroom/Drink Break (Aux Gym/Cafeteria)

25 min -- Lesson/Discussion Time (Cafeteria)

5 min -- Circle Prayer (Cafeteria)

55 min -- Homework/Academic Time (Cafeteria)

You can register your student online now! Please complete the online registration or the paper registration (found in the front office of all SMCSC schools we serve) prior to your student attending program. They may bring it with them when they attend the first day. We are excited to meet your kids and you! We do ask that you please be courteous of the program leaders' and volunteers' time and pick your student(s) up promptly by the end of the program (6:00pm for INT and 5:00pm for PHMS). Thank you! Along with the MTC FREE After-School Program, we will be offering MTC Adventures for a select number of students once a month. This is an intentional way to develop relationships with students, and they will be very limited in number of attendees.

AND we want to get to know the families, too! So we will offer a Family Fun Night on the last Thursday of every month starting in March 31st. This will always include a free family meal, family togetherness through games/activities, possible prizes, and so much fun! This is a great opportunity to invite other families and friends into the mix as these events are open to the community. We have some egg-citing things planned for March 31st! 😉

Our last exciting thing starting up this spring is our Young Adults Trivia Nights at The Stable in town. We will host these every Tuesday night starting in April. Stay tuned for more details to come!
